From Warehouse Floor to Your Feed

  • By Proskii

If you’ve been following Proskii on social media lately, there’s a good chance you’ve already seen Shankar Bhaiya on your feed. He works with us at the Proskii warehouse, and until recently, most of his day involved exactly what you’d expect: managing orders, moving boxes, helping with dispatches and making sure things kept running.

Then we put him in a video.

We didn’t really expect much from it. It was simply one of those moments where we thought it would be fun to show someone from the team who usually works behind the scenes. But once the video went live, the response was much bigger than we expected. People watched, commented and genuinely seemed to enjoy seeing Shankar Bhaiya being himself.

The funny part is that the version of Shankar Bhaiya you saw on social media is exactly the person we see at the warehouse every day.

There’s One Thing You Don’t Know About Shankar Bhaiya

There’s a sentence that has become a bit of an inside joke within our team.

Whenever we’re discussing something and Shankar Bhaiya has something else he wants to tell us, he has his own way of entering the conversation:

“Woh sab chhodiye sir, ye suniye.”

Basically, whatever we’re talking about can wait because Shankar Bhaiya has something more important to say.

It was never something created for social media, and it definitely wasn’t written by our content team. He just says it naturally when he’s talking to us. We’ve heard it so many times at the warehouse that the team almost knows what’s coming as soon as he walks over to start a conversation.

Until now, it was mostly our little warehouse thing. Since you’ve already met Shankar Bhaiya on your feed, we thought it was only fair that you got to know this side of him too.

How Shankar Bhaiya Ended Up on Your Feed

Most days at the Proskii warehouse are a mixture of routine and organised chaos. Orders need to be packed, labels need to be printed, stock needs to be checked and boxes need to leave on time. Somewhere in between all of that, our content team is also trying to capture

what building Proskii actually looks like behind the scenes.

That’s how Shankar Bhaiya ended up in front of the camera.

There wasn’t a carefully written character or a detailed script behind it. We simply wanted him to be himself, because that’s the version of him our team already enjoys being around every day.

When we posted the video, people connected with it. There was something refreshingly simple about watching someone who wasn’t trying too hard to be entertaining. Shankar Bhaiya wasn’t thinking about hooks, engagement rates or whether the first three seconds of the video were strong enough. He was just being himself, and apparently that worked.

Our content team is trying not to take that personally.

The People Behind Your Proskii Order

There’s another reason we wanted to tell Shankar Bhaiya’s story.

When you buy something from Proskii, most of what you see happens online. You discover us through a reel or an ad, visit the website, choose your cereal and place an order. A few days later, a Proskii box arrives at your doorstep.

What you usually don’t see is everything that happens between those two moments.

There are people checking inventory, packing orders, printing shipping labels, organising cartons and making sure the right products go to the right customers. When something goes wrong, there are people figuring out how to fix it. When order volumes suddenly increase, there are people at the warehouse making sure those orders still get out.

Shankar Bhaiya is one of those people.

He was part of Proskii long before he appeared on our social media, and his actual contribution has very little to do with being in front of a camera. The video simply gave us an excuse to introduce you to someone who has already been part of what happens behind every order.

Turns Out, You Guys Like Shankar Bhaiya Too

We spend a lot of time thinking about what should go on the Proskii feed. There are content calendars, ideas, scripts, shoots, edits and several conversations about whether something is actually funny or whether we’ve just been looking at it for too long.

Then someone like Shankar Bhaiya appears in a video and reminds us that sometimes the most interesting content isn’t something you manufacture.

It’s already happening around you.

Maybe that’s why people responded to his video. There was nothing particularly polished about the moment and there didn’t need to be. It was simply a glimpse of one of the real people behind Proskii, doing what he normally does.

For us, that’s also what we want more of our content to feel like. Building a brand isn’t only product launches, photoshoots and perfectly designed Instagram posts. A lot of it happens in warehouses, during random conversations, while packing orders and in moments nobody originally planned to turn into content.

From Warehouse Floor to Your Feed

Shankar Bhaiya probably didn’t come to the Proskii warehouse expecting to end up on thousands of people’s screens. He came to work, became an important part of the everyday warehouse madness and, somewhere along the way, ended up becoming one of the faces people enjoyed seeing on our social media.

For everyone who commented on the video or simply smiled while watching it, now you know a little more about the person behind it.

And for everyone at Proskii, nothing has really changed. Tomorrow, there will still be orders to pack, boxes to move and probably another conversation that Shankar Bhaiya thinks isn’t

nearly as important as whatever he has to tell us.

And when that happens, we already know exactly how he’ll start.

“Woh sab chhodiye sir, ye suniye.”

Haan Shankar Bhaiya, boliye. We’re listening.
